The frustration to fun ratio is rather high. I found it to be aggravating trying to align all the small and delicate pieces correctly when everything is held together with nothing more then tape and a sticky glue dot. The copper tubing tends to break rather then bend unless one is very careful. A nimble and delicate touch is needed. A child's fingers are best suited to this project but a child would not have the frustration tolerance suitable to the task. An exceptional child might enjoy this kit but I would not recommend it for most. As an adult it was mildly rewarding when I finally got it to function correctly.
