This thing rocks! Range is better than advertised and you can make an LED blink with you IPhone in about 30 minutes if you are familiar with the Arduino software. I'm thinking about buying a second one.

I unboxed my BTLE Shield and followed the setup instructions. After that this little device worked well. The basic demo features are exciting. The first time they ran I jumped out of my chair and showed everyone in the studio. Ooohh's and Aaahh's followed.
I played with every feature I could find. They performed beautifully. I actually went back and played the BTLE video. It showed parts of the iPhone app I missed. Everything in the video worked smoothly in real life. [ The PWM example had latency. PWM data was sent slower then I'd expect. ]
I have yet to dive into the BTLE shield software. The software options/features for iPhone itself still seem limited. For example, there is no way yet to send Analog Input data to the web or Cosmo. Red Bear published more iPhone code examples on their site I believe. That still needs exploring..
In short, cool device. I would recommend it to people. They look well made. Will be getting more for a future project.
