The Building Wireless Sensor Networks starter pack includes the core parts needed for many of the projects in the book, including a complete Arduino- and XBee-powered wireless network that delivers remotely-sensed data.
The kit, with the addition of (2) XBee Series 2 modules (sold separately) you’ll be able to complete the following projects from the book Building Wireless Sensor Networks (also sold separately):
- Chapter 2: Basic ZigBee Chat
- Chapter 3: Doorbell Projects (requires an additional Arduino Uno and one additional breadboard, sold separately)
- Chapter 4: Romantic Lighting Sensor (requires one additional breadboard, sold separately; Two 2AA battery holders and 4 AA batteries are suggested if you want to run the sensor nodes on battery power)
