This kit offers everything you'll need to get down and dirty with SMD's. The kit is extremely comprehensive, even going so far as to include twice as many (or more) of the necessary items because, let's face it, you're going to drop one of these things and it will be gone for ever. That being said, there is one minor flaw with kit. The bags come from Jameco unlabeled. Not a problem for the chips or the resistors, they're easy enough to read, but the caps are not labeled, so good luck trying them until you get it right.
