Haven't bought this...but..... April 25, 2012

How does a $5 amp in the magazine cost 40 bucks at the makershed?  I mean, I know that the amp actually costs more than 5 dollars - it cost me about 20-25 bucks when I got the parts from a radio shack.  So why so expensive here?
