Almost bought one for working with encoders, but its a bit slow and only one channel.
$100 for it or $200 for a 20MHz standard. If its only for bench work, its not the ticket. Field work, its still rather limited.

But the official firmware is terrible, so go to http://www.seeedstudio.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=12 (the manufacturers official forum) and download the latest BenF firmware. Also on the same forum you can find instructions how to compile a Mac/linux firmware tool.

Very innovative. They use a small MP3 player case and display, so it is very compact, but has a nice, full featured display, and is rechargable from a USB port. However, it only has one channel, and only a 1 Megasample/sec sample rate, so it is only useful up to about 100kHz. Unless you really know what you are doing, you can be easily confused by what you are seeing. On the other hand, it's very sensitive and goes up to 80V on the input, which is much better than some USB oscilloscopes. It all depends on what you want it for.
