We are no longer carrying the standalone EZ-Robot controller because the EZ-Robot Complete Kit is so much more fun!

The EZ-Robot Controller is the easiest way to get up and running with robots! This unique board communicates with your computer using onboard Bluetooth to give you complete command over your creation. Building robots has never been easier; connect your own peripherals like ultrasonic and IR sensors, servos, motors, speakers, joysticks and even cameras to the EZ-Robot controller to bring ordinary toys to life without soldering or advanced programming! Make nearly any toy into a robot using nothing but a few standard servos and a hot glue gun! Each board includes a battery holder to get you up and running right away!

The free EZ-Builder software (Windows only) is perfect for non-programmers with it's graphical environment and powerful enough for programmers with it's scripting language. Simply download the GUI and you'll be up and running in minutes. Advanced abilities like voice recognition (available in Windows 7 only), object, and face tracking are already built into the program! Just select what you want to do from the drop down menu, configure what reactions you want to happen and you're all set. Want to make a voice controlled robot? You can in under 5 minutes! Want even more advanced control? Download the EZ-Builder SDK!

Note: Includes EZ-Robot Controller and battery holder only. Bring your own peripherals! Your computer must have Bluetooth to communicate with the EZ-Robot Controller. PC Bluetooth Module not included.

The EZ Robot Controller Works Well May 23, 2012

After a bit of a rough time getting it up and going (a "quick start" manual would have been nice) I found the EZ-B microcontroller and EZ Builder software to be, well, easy to use and use as a base to build robots. It delivers as promised.

The instant gratification of moving motors/robots by voice command, through simple customization, is something that no other robotics system has ever offered. It is well thought out, slick and works the first time.

The face/ color / glyph identification and ability to FOLLOW items as such puts most of what roboticists want into their robots.

The price (full retail about $140) while much higher than other microcontrollers is not a deal stopper in that it has so very many, many features.

And for those of you who are quite brave, there is the EZ-Bulder SDK. Not for the faint of heart.
