The BESC Programming Card device plugs in between your remote control receiver and the speed controller on your ELEV-8 quadcopter or remote control aircraft. It allows you to program the ESC (electronic speed controller) according to a series of LED indicators. There are buttons at the bottom to help you navigate through the menu and select the feature you want, change it, then press the save button. It's very simple and is much easier than listening to jingles or a series of beeps. It also gives you the assurance that the settings you have changed are correct and saved into the ESC
The Brushless Outrunner Motor 1000Kv is a type of motor that spins its outer shell around its windings (as opposed to inrunner). Outrunners spin much slower than their inrunner counterparts with their more traditional layout while producing far more torque. This makes an outrunner an excellent choice for directly driving electric aircraft propellers since they eliminate the extra weight, complexity, inefficiency and noise of a gearbox. This motor is currently used in the ELEV-8 kits.
GemFan 30A ESC is an Electronic Speed Controller. ESCs are used on most RC equipment for controlling the speed of a brushless motor. This ESC is used in the ELEV-8 Quadcopter Kit and is also compatible with a wide variety of 3.3 V and 5 V microcontrollers. Compatible with a standard RC receiver or any 3.3 V or 5 V microcontroller running the proper pulse-width modulation (PWM).
