Who says Arduinos can't make music? The Nebulophone is an Arduino based synthesizer with a stylus keyboard that can be played through 6 octaves using the shift button. The programmable sequencer function lets you record, play back, and manipulate custom arpeggios for musical awesomeness. 5 waveforms and tons of options including the "hidden" HYPERNOISE 30xx mode will have you making your own unique electronic music almost soon as you put it together. Perfect for beginners, advanced builders, and electronic music lovers that are tired of being limited by the typical Atari punk console. Requires soldering, a cord with a 1/4" mono plug, and an amplifier (computer speakers work well.)

I can't give a full review, because I never got to finish it since when I got it it was missing 5 capacitors and an IR emitter and an IR detector....

Great Kit & Excellent Musical Noise Toy October 19, 2012

The Bleep Labs Nebulophone is a great electronic kit for those who are experienced with or newcomers to soldering. After it's assembled, it's capable of making a wide variety of sounds, it has a sequencer that can trigger different arpeggios and lets you enter your own note sequence, and it can serve as the master sync source via infrared for kits in the Andromeda Space Rocker lineup (http://handmademusic.noisepages.com/2009/10/introducing-handmade-music-austin). Thumbs fully up for the Nebulophone!
