Great kit - works as it should... |

I purchased this kit a few weeks ago and received it rather promptly. Took me maybe 30 minutes of soldering and assembly time - it was very easy and fun.
Short of it all - the product DOES work as advertised. I was able to hit various TVs from distances up to 150 feet as long as you aim it. Works on most if not all store ones, mall ones, restaurant ones, arcade machines, etc. etc. etc. ;)
Here's the only downside. Because the kit is so "exposed" - I highly recommend it being mounted in something or put into some sort of protective casing. The LEDs can become unadjusted as well as some of the other components on the board can be bent very easily. I'm rather delicate on mine - however I still ended up having to replace one of the components because it bent right off.
