Leonardo Da Vinci first drew his helical "aerial screw" helicopter in 1483, and although his design was never built, this kit lets you create it yourself. Unfortunately, Leonardo's design was flawed, and it won't fly! Lucky for you, this kit consists of 2 models -- one based on Da Vinci's, plus a modified design that does indeed fly (check out the video below).
Easy to build -- instructions are in Japanese but feature highly detailed assembly pictures (sorry, no English translation at this time). MAKE is proud to be the exclusive distributor in North America for these brilliant kits from Gakken.
