Excellent

Reviewer: marko fong from sebastopol, CA United States
It took me a bit longer to install the screen on my Samsung 150 than the company estimates, but it wasn't bad.
I've had it installed for about 3 months and find that it dramatically increased the useability of my netbook. I now take it with me more often, actually work on it, and get outside more than I did before. I've been surprised by how often I find myself waiting outdoors or in the car and I can now just open up my netbook.
It's actually a little more legible in monochrome mode than in color. In backlit mode, you definitely lose some brightness, but it's not extreme vs the original Samsung screen.
Once installed, it works exactly as advertized. The comparative battery life is better, but the effect, at least for me, hasn't been extreme. Maybe an extra hour over what was already very good battery life. I can leave the house for the day without my power adapter and haven't had a problem yet.

Works with HP Mini 210 (Atom N2800, 2x1.86GHz)

Fit right into the latest HP Mini 210, hardest part was removing the bezel -- you have to be very careful to not damage it as it's very thin. Might be the fastest netbook that supports Pixel Qi at the present.

I Once Was Blind But Now I Can See!

Glory be to God (or Mary Lou Jepsen!) for the awesome Pixel Qi display!!
This screen is like a rose petal bath for my eyes. Easily the best display tech to come along since E-INK. Installing it in my Samsung N150 was a breeze. I can now work all day in bright sunlight on a netbook that lasts over 12 hours, produces little heat or radiation, and most importantly, NO EYE STRAIN when reading or writing text. What a godsend!
I hope 2012 will see Pixel Qi displays released in 11.6" or 12.1" sizes, so I can get it into something a little more powerful that an atom-based netbook.

Works brilliantly in Samsung N150

I’ve been waiting 30 years for one of these. Bought the Pixel QI screen from Maker Shed, shipped internationally to the UK. Tried to fit it into my Acer netbook, but incompatible fittings. So I bought a new Samsung N150 (the newer model with dual core Intel Atom N550, thoroughly recommended). The Pixel QI screen is simply brilliant. I’ve also upgraded the Samsung with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 128GB SSD. So there are no moving parts (not even a fan), and with the Pixel QI backlight switched off the power drain is minimal. Turn off WiFi & Bluetooth as well and battery life becomes endless. Thank you Pixel QI, Maker Shed and Samsung!!!

Gave new life to my netbook
August 24, 2011
Reviewer: Matthieu from Toronto, ON Canada
I had an old AspireOne D150 lying around. I bought it a few years ago when netbooks were "in". Since then it spent a lot of time gathering dust. Now that I've installed the Pixel Qi display, I take it with me outside, inside, at work, at home.
It's really what mobile computing has been missing forever. The ability to truly be able to work anywhere, in any light conditions. Display quality is great, colours are nice, and sunlight visibility works as advertised. A bit pricy, but worth it.
Added bonus: matte display. none of the shiny glossy nonsense.
In addition to the Aspire One AOD150, I also tested in a Toshiba NB200 and it worked fine.

10 months withs Pixel Qi
June 24, 2011
Reviewer: Matti Ilmanen from Helsinki, Finland
Hi,
I have now used Pixel Qi screen for 10 months on my Samsung N210. Daily use something like 10 hours.
During winter and spring I was able to work outside on terrace and now even in midsummer brightness the screen works just fine. Yesterday I tried to read something on ipad outdoors, but had to cover us with blankets to get some contrast. Pixel Qi is by far the most value added gadget I have ever own, and I have own quite a few.
Thank you, for letting me to be outdoors.

Great display. Works perfectly in indoor and outdoor lighting conditions. No dead pixels or whatsoever.
Now this type of screens should really be picked up by the great netbook brands.

Pixel Qi is good choice, less eye pain
March 7, 2011
Reviewer: Peter from Poland
I bought the screen for nearly three weeks ago and I'm delighted. I installed it in the Samsung N150, everything fits perfectly, the screen does its job both outside the solar light in the house as well as in artificial light. If at home the picture is too dark use the functions transreflective or enlarge a light with 1 or 2 degrees and is perfect. The quality is excellent reading, his eyes practically not at all tired, neither the court nor in the room. I recommend to all screen Pixel Qi, especially those who suffer from headaches and eye associated with reading on screen, in the case of monitoring Pixel Qi can work on it all day, I greet

EXCELLENT

It arrived 2 hours ago. I've got it working in my Samsung N130 netbook and all buttoned up again. Works better outdoors than I expected (plenty of shades of grey) and just as good as the original screen indoors. F5 toggles the backlight on/off - no problems.
The install in this netbook is straightfoward, as expected the hardest part is figuring out how to open the netbook case without damage (I put a 80 GB SSD in there while I was at it.) If you're not familiar with opening strange electronics that weren't meant to be opened - get some help.
Couldn't be happier.
