Great starter kit for a beginner like me
February 16, 2011
Reviewer: SD from West Jordan, UT United States
This kit really does come with everything needed to get me started learning Arduino and electronics. I have already gone beyond one of the basic examples to get two LEDs to blink alternately at variable speeds using a light dependent resister. The book explains everything clearly. It is actually entertaining. There is one thing I would suggest be changed and that is to swap the clear breadboard out for an opaque one like white or some other colour. I find it hard to tell where the holes are because they blend in with the light reflecting back up through the clear plastic off the metal rails. And there was only one misleading item. The label on the box lists a 9v Power Supply that doesn't actually come with the kit which was pointed out to me when I sent an email inquiry and called to make sure if I was missing something or not. Other than those two items this is a great kit and I am having a blast with it.
