looks about right
November 7, 2011
Reviewer: michael pechner from palo alto, CA United States
Finally a kit with a 800pt Bread board and a LCD.
I can't comment in price. But had all the right parts to get started. Especially great if you only have a radio shack near you.
But, I think a AA battery pack that has a 9V connector and/or a 9V wall wart would be very good additions.
AA, only because of the extra power density. And the cheaper price on AA rechargeable batteries over 9V.
Also adding a I2C sensor would be good as well.

Bill of material & datasheet
October 31, 2011
Reviewer: Richard Leblanc from Deux-Montagnes, QC Canada
Kind of agree with all maker feedback above.
The datasheet V2 is there but missing a lot of important components which you can't really guess what they are, as follow:
(2) Micro Servos
(1) LCD Screen 16x2
(2) Force-Sensitive Resistor
(3) 5mm RGB LED
We need a V3...];-)

Arduino Kit
October 19, 2011
Reviewer: Tobias
Sounds like a great kit. I would also like to get the arduino. But it only says arduino, is it arduino uno? (And, is there some some sort of discount beacuse it costs 22 dollars and the arduino uno alone costs almost 40 dollars?)

Missing a Parts List
July 4, 2011
Reviewer: Ryan B from Denver, CO United States
Overall this appears to be a good kit... But my biggest gripe is there is no part list detailing everything that's included. I feel like I am missing some parts as well but I cannot verify this without some sort of part list. Knowing this now I would have purchased parts separately that way I would know what I have what I didn't and I wouldn't have dropped such a hefty amount on this product. For the money I think you are better off buying separate kits and putting them together, this seems like a big gamble.

Parts Info needed!
July 1, 2011
Reviewer: A.J. Vasaris from Akron, OH United States
Just got it and some documentation would be nice. Yes, there's a part list on the back of the box, and some contents are easy to identify: the Netduino+, resistors, capacitors, wires, breadboards, PCBs, among others. But I can't find any information on the Photo-resistors, Thermistors, Force-sensitive resistors, tilt sensors....
I searched the website, but I guess these are not sold seperately so I'm out of luck on those. So I have to agree with the previous reviews, a PDF or a webpage with more detailed info would be nice. I've got details on the NetduinoPlus to keep me busy this weekend :-)
Yes, I'll figure it out eventually, but when you want to dig in right a way, and start playing, you have to put on the brakes.

Data sheets revisited
June 29, 2011
Reviewer: Tom Guyette from Los Angeles, CA United States
I very much agree with the guy who said we need something identifying the components and their characteristics. Selling a big bag of parts without even online documentation is tantamount to giving us a printer and having us take it apart and try to make something with the pieces. There should be a PDF link on the sales page with documentation that at least contains a parts list and basic information on each part (resistance graphs, power and control specs, etc.)

Data sheets?
June 22, 2011
Reviewer: Paul Ray from Alexandria, VA United States
This pack has a great-looking assortment of parts that I'd love to interface with my Arduino Uno, but my package didn't come with any documentation at all. Shouldn't there be datasheets for the various parts? How do I know how to connect up the LCD, for example?

Overwhelmed by the possibilities
June 10, 2011
Reviewer: Nikolaj Lepka from Horsens, Midtjylland Denmark
So far I've just received my package, I checked the content and everything seems to be there, all 181 (or so) components are present and didn't take any damage on the long trip to Denmark... So that's great!
I've yet to test the LCD, but everything looks promising so far!
If only I could wrap my head around what to make and put this set to good use ^^'

So many possibilities in one little kit.
May 27, 2011
Reviewer: Daniel Gentleman from San Jose, CA United States
I picked this up at Bay Area Maker Faire 2011 and am very glad it's my first Arduino kit. Every time I look at the box and see the plethora of parts, I come up with new ideas on what to make.
I couldn't get the LCD to work after re-soldering and checking all the wires, but I replaced it with a serial LCD anyway to use fewer pins.
The kit could use more "fun" sensors like sonic or IR range finders, but those are easily picked up elsewhere. Love it.
