Some items on your order may be drop shipping separately, items with product codes that begin with "MKSG" and certain "DS", please check the product page of those items for delivery times, some items may take up to 4 weeks and tracking may not be available immediately. *Almost all orders ship out within 2 business days; time to delivery is in addition to this processing time. We also reserve the right to upgrade your chosen shipping method, at our discretion, to a faster ship method at no additional charge to you. In addition, if a ship method is chosen such as Flat Rate box, and the items will not fit into it, we will pick the next cheapest ship method for the shipment and will charge that rate instead. Not all shipping methods are available during December. Maker Shed assumes no responsibility for packages that are not delivered in the promised time frame due to weather conditions or other technical issues with the carriers chosen by customers. USPS Media Mail is only available to be used for books and magazines, if you choose this ship method for any other items, we will choose the next cheapest ship method available and charge accordingly. If you wish to be notified of the additional cost, please either make order notes in the comments field at checkout or email help@makershed.com. please note this may also delay your order processing and ship time.
**All shipping charges are for shipping and handling only, and do not include any duties, fees or taxes levied by the carrier. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
***Smart Post is a joint venture by FedEx and the USPS, FedEx picks up packages in bulk and delivers to your local USPS hub, at which point the USPS delivers the package to you. For this reason tracking numbers will take a few days to register and you might not see any information during the transit time between FedEx and USPS.
Note:The Maker Shed is not liable for packages damaged or lost in transit. No refunds or replacements given for non-trackable shipments. We strongly recommend choosing a shipping method that offers tracking. Your order leaves our warehouse carefully packed, if you receive a package that is damaged, please file a loss claim with the carrier, not Maker Shed. We will be happy to support your claim in any way we can. Once your item is delivered by the carrier, it's safety is your responsibility. Maker Shed is in no way liable for theft or misplaced packages once delivered. If you are unable to be at home to take possession, please make arrangements with carrier, family, friends or neighbors. Your completed purchase is your acceptance of these terms.
