Construction problems December 18, 2010
Reviewer: Dan from Shawnigan Lake, BC Canada
The end product is nice but it's not easy getting there.

My kit contained missing pieces, and wrong pieces (missing voltage regulator, two of the nuts were the wrong size and wouldn't fit on the machine screws that were provided).  The button on the side provided broke when I tightened the face plate down because the circuit board pushed down on it with too much pressure.

The on/off volume control knob didn't sit out far enough to attach a nut on the outside.

The design and instructions really need some tweaking to make this kit go together better and there needs to be a bit more quality control to insure the correct pieces end up in the kit.  The end result is fun and cool, but don't count on getting there without some grief.

If I could break it down I would give assembly 2/5 and the end product once you've got all the bugs worked out and bits replaced 5/5.
