Instead of the batman-like keychain, this new version looks like a small mP3 player, it even has a headphone jack for extra stealth! Easy to trigger whenever you desire with a push of the button. Like the TV-B-Gone keychain, TV-B-Gone Pro has Instant Reactivation Feature so that you can turn off many TVs in quick succession. The newest version of the TV-B-Gone Pro looks just like a smartphone for extra sneakiness.

TV-B-Gone Pro works the same way the TV-B-Gone keychain works, but it is way more powerful because it has more emitters and uses a bigger battery. Instead of the batman-like keychain, it comes in a lightweight case that looks like a small MP3 player. It is easy to trigger whenever you desire with the switch on its front. A dim visible light lets you know when the TV-B-Gone Pro is transmitting (Stealth-Mode is available with double-click activation). Like the TV-B-Gone keychain, TV-B-Gone Pro has Instant Reactivation Feature so that you can turn off many TVs in quick succession.
Congratulations on becoming a TV-B-Gone Professional! While most people turn televisions on, you are part of a growing rank of people who turn them off. And not merely from within arms reach, but up to 110 meters away! This is for professionals only! Try this at home, at school, at airports, restaurants, bars, anywhere you see a television. You have the best tool of the trade! TV-B-Gone Pro is very much like any remote control, except for the lack of all of those extraneous buttons, leaving the only important button: the OFF button. Of course, like other remote controls, the OFF button can also turn TVs on. And sometimes that is worthwhile. For instance, when a waiter in a restaurant keeps turning a TV on after you turn it off, it is sometimes useful to turn it on while they are looking at the TV – that usually freaks them out enough to give up and do their job. Activation: The play button is the activator button. Click it once to start the transmission sequence. Double click it to start and the visible indicator will not blink while transmitting. Push the button for at least 1 second to start the transmission sequence over from the beginning.
Battery: TV-B-Gone Pro SHP uses a rechargeable battery. A full charge is good for turning off a day’s worth of TVs for the hard-working professional user. Charge overnight with the supplied recharger to get ready for your next day of
work and play.
Continent Location: On the bottom of the case is a small switch to tell the TV-B-Gone Pro whether to use the North American (NA) or European (EU) database. EU is also good for the Middle East, Australia/New Zealand, and some of South America. NA is also good for Asia, and the rest of the world. You can change the switch as many times as you like. Your TV-B-Gone Pro will turn off almost every TV you can see. The effective range is up to 110 meters away, under ideal conditions (such as a Sony TV directly in front of you, with no obstructions).
Quick Start Guide
Your TV-B-Gone Pro is almost ready to go!
Before using your TV-B-Gone Pro, please make sure to:
• recharge the battery with the recharger
• choose either NA or EU with the Continent Location switch
How to use your TV-B-Gone Pro
1. Point at any TV.
2. Click the play button.
3. Keep pointing at the TV until it turns off (may take up to 56 seconds).
Instant Reactivation Feature
Press and hold the Play button for at least one second during transmission to
activate the Instant Reactivation Feature, which starts the transmission sequence
over again from the beginning. This is very useful for when there is more than
one TV within view. You can also use this feature to turn the same TV back on
again. But we recommend that TVs remain off at all times.
Stealth Mode
If you would like to use your TV-B-Gone Pro without the red blinking indicator
light, double-click the play button to start. The red light will blink once when it
starts, once again each time you use Instant Reactivation Feature, and 8 times
quickly at the end of the transmission sequence to let you know transmission
is finished.
Useful Tip: Don’t stare at the TV (which is never a good idea), but look at
the “mp3 player” as if you’re making a selection. This is one of the biggest
challenges of being a TV-B-Gone professional.

The thing worked better than imagined. Nice outer case. Made my friends look at me in awe . The only bummer was that it wasn't in a shape of a IPod!!!

this unit is not 1 1/4" thick as reviewed here. The unit is about 5/16" , tiny, well constructed

Works as said, at 60 yards in the mall it turned off the cell phone's place TV in about two seconds! Only down fall is it is 1 3/16" thick.
