This breadboard sucks. The power rails were simply locked in place by dovetails (three on each side), the double sided adhesive was cheap and non functional, and the biggest complaint, the 4 metal power rails don't run the full length of the breadboard! It wasn't until I had a full board that I discovered that I wasn't getting power to the other half. I cleaned the components off the board, did some trouble shooting, and then removed the sticky foam. Whoa! The power rails are actually two of the smaller breadboards butted together- with hopes that they make contact but not on one of mine! My solutions were to remove all of that cheap foam tape, remove the power rails, placed a drop of cyanoacrylate in each dovetail and then reassemble. Then I heated up the ol' soldering iron and electrically joined the two rails to make one. I repeated that 3 more times. And finally I buttoned it up with some adhesive acetate. Now it's functional. The bottom line, these are cheap breadboards!
