How do you assemble this thing? February 4, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Hartford, CT United States
It's not self-evident to the beginner. I have no idea how to assemble this thing and there is absolutely no documentation or instruction that comes with the product, nor can I find anything online. I got the plastic peace off the barrel but I don't know which wire goes into which hole or whether it matters at all. I have spent days trying to search for this simple information but to no avail. "Assembly required but easy" is the only instruction / documentation you get. That's not any help what -so-ever. I bought a $100+ kit with this included and I'm about ready to give up before I even start due to complete lack of documentation/information. A single sentence instruction would suffice.

--

We apologize for the confusion-- assembly instructions are now located under the "How To" tab.

Sincerely,

The Maker Shed Team

Fair July 22, 2013

I had a hard time snapping the battery in to place. The case is flexable and the terminals bend out of position. I ended up having to remove the cover from the switch and use two flat tip screw drivers to snap the battery in place. Then I managed to break the small tab on the case cover so that it will not stay in place. I solved that problem with electrical tape. However the performance is on par with the price.

Switch was backwards November 24, 2012
Reviewer: T-Fox from Klamath Falls, OR United States
The switch was backwards on this (on was off, and off was on). Not a huge problem, but a bit frustrating.

Other than that, things were a breeze. I spent more time heating up the soldering iron to attach the plug than I did actual soldering.

poor quality May 7, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from USA
I was disappointed by the poor quality of this case. The assembly isn't easy, and the plastic is brittle. The case edge broke off in no time, and then the metal connector.
