I purchased this Learn to Solder kit hoping to, ya know, Learn to Solder. While it contained three kits that presumably will be easy to complete, I was hoping that there would be some sort of instructions as to the basics of soldering so that I could Learn to Solder.
There are other kits on here for Learning to Solder, though they were all sold out at the time, which is how I picked this one. I couldn't really recommend it to anyone hoping to be able to open the box and be walked through some learning exercises.
I suppose it might be good as some projects if you already knew how to solder and wanted to teach someone else.

Easy and Fun! Can now add LED's to other projects

I purchased this bundle so I could add some neat LED effects to other projects. I had no prior experience with soldering. So I bought the "learn to solder" kit (that comes with a soldering iron) also. After learning how to solder, I was able to assemble these kits easily. There are no instructions included, so if you need them, you have to get them online (very easy).
Two of the kits contain a variety of LED lighting sequences, so you can get different effects at the push of a button.
I didn't have MAKE Vol. 1, so that was an extra bonus. The Notebook is great for writing down the ideas I have for the 3 new LED kits I assembled. Plus all the other projects I have in mind.
No actual Learn to Solder Instructions
