  • Superb optical and mechanical quality. These scopes are laboratory quality.
  • The binocular head provides two primary eyepieces (30° inclined), one with an adjustable diopter setting to allow you to adapt the focus settings to your own vision. Binocular viewing is generally easier on your eyes and may allow you to see detail that's invisible with a monocular scope.
  • Continuously-variable 0 – 20W halogen illumination.
  • Coaxial coarse/fine focusing, with graduated fine-focus.
  • A 1.25 NA achromatic Abbe substage condenser with rack-and-pinion focusing.
  • A professional-quality mechanical stage, with low-position x-axis and y-axis control knobs and precise, accurate vernier scales.
  • Reverse nosepiece orientation, which makes it easier to change magnifications.
  • Includes three clear color-contrast filters (blue, green, and yellow) and a swing-out substage filter holder.
  • Optional super-high-contrast ASC achromatic objectives (add $81) or plan achromatic objectives (add $194).
