Product #: DSRBT07

We're excited to carry Korea-based ROBOTIS kits, famed for their transformability and stunning humanoid designs. The mind-blowing DARwIn-OP (Dynamic Anthropomorphic Robot with Intelligence–Open Platform) is the brainchild of Virginia Tech, Purdue University, and University of Pennsylvania. Used as a platform for the ICRA, FIRA, and RoboCup robotics competition, DARwIn-OP is a top-of-the-line humanoid with advanced computational power, sophisticated sensors, high payload capacity, and dynamic motion ability.

Almost 18" tall,
DARwIn-OP's built-in PC is a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z530 (32 bit) with an on-board 4 GB flash SSD. The bot can be controlled with voice commands, as well as programming. DARwIn-OP talks, sees, and rolls, among other amazing capabilities. The automaton has tons of features, including wifi connectivity, a USB camera, microphone, and versatile hand functionality.

DARwIn is open source, all of his components and software are viewable and hackable. This robot is truly stunning in its capabilities -- give DARwIn a whirl!
