This well documented kit by Gakken includes everything you need to create a walking, wind powered Strandbeest. The kit contains over 80 parts made of light weight plastic and a steel rod. A squirrel cage fan is included for wind power. The kit explains the theory behind the Jansen linkage and includes detailed instructions. Easily modify the kit with an electric fan or a solar powered motor to let it roam on it's own! Booklet is in Japanese with highly detailed, step by step, assembly images.
