Designed by young maker Joey Hudy, this Arduino Shield is an SMD version of the LOL shield. Not only does it help you learn to solder surface mount components, it also provides a bright, attractive display for your Arduino. The kit includes PCB, header pins, 73 SMD LEDs (you only need 64), shift registers, and a button. You'll need to provide your own soldering iron, solder, flux, and Arduino (UNO or Leonardo.) Soldering the kit should take under two hours.
