The CRAFT eBook Collection
(PDF) is exactly what it sounds like. It's 10 volumes of CRAFT magazine available in separate PDF downloads.
CRAFT is dedicated to the renaissance that's occurring within the world
of crafts. Celebrating the DIY spirit, CRAFT's goal is to unite,
inspire, inform, and entertain a growing community of highly imaginative
and resourceful people who are transforming traditional art and crafts
with unconventional, unexpected, and even renegade techniques,
materials, and tools; people who undertake amazing crafting projects in
their homes and communities.
Launched in 2005, CRAFT magazine gained a loyal and influential print
readership as the first project-based magazine dedicated to today's
craft renaissance. With the growing success of the popular CRAFT: Blog,
CRAFT was transformed in 2009 into an online magazine reaching 1
million readers each month. CRAFT is also a thriving community -- with
CRAFT forums and dedicated Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr groups -- that
shares projects online and meets in real life at Maker Faire, the
world's largest DIY festival.
CRAFT is the sister publication of (and created by the same team of renegade thinkers who created) MAKE Magazine. Coined "The Martha Stewart for Geeks" by Newsweek's
Stephen Levy, MAKE is one of the most highly regarded and well
published success stories in the consumer magazine space over the past
year.
