Weighing in at only 19 grams and measuring a minuscule 9cm motor-to-motor, the Crazyflie Nano Quadcopter Kit is a wonder of miniature engineering. Due to it's teeny size and open design, the Nano is perfect for experimenters and hardware and software developers. Because it's so small, it can easily be flown inside, even in small spaces. The Nano can also lift a payload of up to 5-10 g. This version of the Nano offers 10 degrees of freedom (DOF) and includes onboard sensors for altitude and heading measurement.

The Crazyflie is open source, so schematics and firmware/source code are available at the maker's  (Bitcraze) website. Because the Crazyflie is designed with development in mind, the 'copter includes an expansion header (which allows you to mount expansion boards and make off-board connections) that enables developers to expand the platform.

This quadcopter is an excellent choice for anyone looking to tinker, hack, and expand upon an already sophisticated flier. And don't let the size fool you. The Nano bristles with hardware. And endless potential.

Please note: This kit requires assembly, including soldering, and is not recommended for beginners. In order to get it flying, a few items that aren't included in the kit are required. Please see "Features" tab below for more.
