I built one of these kits. It does exactly what the description says: there are four bright LEDs and they blink on at full strength and then slowly fade, in sequence. You can control the sequence at build time. It doesn't do anything practical, but it's a neat little gadget when its going. The HexPummer is an easy build - mine worked without any problem after assembling it. It would make a good kit for relatively inexperienced kit builders. The only problem I've seen with mine is that the performance of the supplied rechargeable batteries degraded a lot after only a couple of months. But a new set of batteries would fix that.
