- Superb optical and mechanical quality. These scopes are laboratory quality.
- The trinocular head provides two primary (binocular) eyepieces (30° inclined) and a third, vertical eyepiece that can be used by a second person to view simultaneously, or can be used to connect a still or video camera to shoot images of the specimen in the field of view.
- Continuously-variable 0 – 20W halogen illumination.
- Coaxial coarse/fine focusing, with graduated fine-focus.
- A 1.25 NA achromatic Abbe substage condenser with rack-and-pinion focusing.
- A professional-quality mechanical stage, with low-position x-axis and y-axis control knobs and precise, accurate vernier scales.
- Reverse nosepiece orientation, which makes it easier to change magnifications.
