Once assembled, this tiny car will run around, getting its juice from a supercapacitor. Capacitors are like little batteries. Supercaps store and release power faster than ordinary ones, so they’re great for making quick-charge gadgets and power-on-demand circuits.

Please note: This kit requires basic soldering skills and (4) AAA batteries (not included)

The Kit I purchased from the Makers Shed at NYC Makers Faire had a 3 battery holder rather then the 4 battery holder pictured above and the super cap was a 1 Farad instead of 2.2 Farad pictured above. I was down sized and still paid the same price. I am disappointed in Maker Shed.

Supercap racer is so much fun and so easy to put together! You can adjust his tail to do all sorts of cool things! He is so tiny you can bring him anywhere!
