To go off of the other review this is an outstanding set of items to start off with.  On the note of the cable, a good starting project with the usb to microusb is something i have had to do with cables that don't quite come in commercially.  just make one, you learn about the pin outs and what the different parts of your cables do

This is an awesome package for someone like me just getting into hobbyist electronics that has no clue what to start with. I wish it would of came with a USB to MicroUSB cord, and if it did I'd of given it a full five stars. 4.9 in truth.
