I saw this at PAX East 2009, and was excited to see it on Maker.
Unfortunately, I looked through all the packaging (strange way of packing an electronics kit) and did not see a battery.
The parts list on the box does not list a battery, but the description on Maker states that there is a battery in a kit. I'm looking forward to hearing the awesome sounds this thing makes, but now I have to take a little trip to the shack and get a battery.
I'll update once I get it working, but so far a little disappointed in something that is a really great musical toy.

First this is a simple fun kit.
Their site just has a graphic. Are they retooling for something else?
